MDM Trouble Report for 2014 Mar 13

Problem(s) Encountered:
Problems (there are 2):

1) Prospero repeatedly failed scripts saying that:

 Once telescope is slewing to next Object hit <Enter> > 
 Moving mirror IN and turning on Xe lamp
 Mirror command sent, please wait for completion...
 Mirror MOVING
 Mirror MOVING
 Error: Command returned error
ERROR: MDM TCS link not enabled
 objsetup script aborted on error, please correct and try again 

I would then (found in an error report by Gisella deRose 2 years ago) 
telescope stop
telescope start 

However prospero would still not work.  I then also tcinit and then tcstatus and then prospero would work for a while.  I went through this circle 3 or 4 times then the problem stopped happening.  I am thinking about just rebooting everything tomorrow before the night begins. 

2) There was pretty bad nodding again tonight.  It first happened at:
HA=+00:58:25 Dec=-04:57:29
The bright star was jumping ~arcmin size jumps between the 0.1s exposures on the acq camera.  I grab my phone to take a video in case it is useful in diagnostics.  I did not catch it in the large jumps, but I did succeed in catching smaller (~20 ) jumps.  I have sent the video to Eric in case it is useful.   

I then went to our science target.  It was tracking fine for about 20 min but then nodding started on this object as well.  Guiding was lost.  It occurred at:
HA = +01:26:27 Dec=-04:08:06
I then repointed to our object after about 5 min.  The source then tracked for 40 min, some nodding might have been present at the beginning but it was not bad by the end of the 40 min.
