MDM Trouble Report for 2014 Jun 07

Problem(s) Encountered:
Problem : The telescope continuously lost the pointing, while
moving to a different object. 

Solution : We zenith parked the telescope and reset 
the hour angle after setting the levelers. This did not solve 
the problem, therefore we restarted the TCS system and fixed the 
levelers to their default position. The hour angle was reset to 
zero, when reset the ra-dec encoders and turned the tracking on 
at the same time. 

Other problems:
1) The TCSlink on the Prospero Status GUI was not 
connecting, after we reset the TCS system. Therefore, we could
not run commands such as 'telfoc', 'east' etc. from the command
line i.e. we could not control the telescope using the Prospero
command line.

2) During the process of setting the levelers, the paddle in the
control room did not respond to the set 'RA'. Moreover, the RA
value was far off than its normal position at Zenith Park (ra=
-4.2 instead of 0.10). We, instead had to use the paddle by the
telescope, although when we were trying to change 'RA', the 'Dec'
would change a little.
