MDM Trouble Report for 2016 May 28

Problem(s) Encountered:
1) Biases and sky flats went fine, but when I moved to the first 
star the CCD controller would not read out the image, or, more
frequently, not even start the exposure.  I tried various
combinations of the following resets:

a) controller setup (about 7 times)
b) restarting owl (3 times)
c) power cycling the controller box (3 times)
d) reseating the fiber connectors on the controller box (1 time)

I'm not sure what finally worked because the problem seemed
to be intermittent, possibly also dependent on telescope
position.  The only things I did not try were reseating the
fiber connectors on the mdmarc2 computer, or rebooting it.
Those were going to be my last resorts.  Is there a recommended
order of steps to follow in this situation?

2) A diagonal flop by about 5 arcseconds was seen at
HA +03:45, Dec +23.
