MDM Trouble Report for 2016 Nov 05

Problem(s) Encountered:
Problem 1:
While attempting to move target into slit, realized that issuing a change to dy in xmis made no change to the autoguider (i.e., the star in the autoguider window did not move at all).
Oddly enough, changes to dx worked just fine!

Steps taken to fix: Moved guider to origin. Quit xmis GUI. Power cycled MIS in computer room. Restarted/initialized xmis.
Then it worked properly.


Problem 2: 
Rotator angle jumped to ~-600. Saw in trouble reports that this is a known issue.
Moved telescope back to zenith, and rotated instrument back toward the 0 position. As I moved towards 0, it corrected itself.
