MDM Trouble Report for 2017 Sep 16

Problem(s) Encountered:
Lost the remote connection and couldn't get back in because
x11vnc stopped working.  It first offered port 5901 instead
of 5900, but I didn't know how to use that, and eventually
x11vnc didn't even get that far.  I asked Justin to go down to
the 1.3m and he found the entire workstation monitor frozen.
The telescope was still tracking and guiding, but curiously
OWL had stopped writing data. I'm not sure what state
OWL was left in, since I was mainly concerned with
closing the telescope. We stopped
the guider in preparation for stowing the telescope. 
We rebooted the workstation as well as McGraw, the latter
because the TCS GUI would not initialize even though we 
stopped and restarted the telescope server.  (A precursor
to this may be that the TCS GUI disappeared earlier in the
night and had to be restarted). The telescope was then
properly closed and stowed using the TCS GUI. 
and the pointing even seem to be correct. 
But OWL and everything else on the workstation will have to
be restarted, and of course x11vnc if the next observer is
going to be able to use the telescope tomorrow, because
x11vnc is still not working.
