MDM Trouble Report for 2017 Feb 28

Problem(s) Encountered:
Three separate issues occurred during out night:

1. The mirror cover wouldn't open right away. I closed and opened them again, and the last one opened after quite some time.

2. The telescope stopped responding to the paddle (N/S directions only). E/W worked fine, but N/S there was no response. Tried with the singe direction, direction+set and nothing worked. Eventually tried direction+slew and the telescope moved. That seemed to correct the problem, but that was an alarming issue.

3. The dome error read zero, but the dome was actually not at all in the correct position. The telescope was essentially pointing at the dome with only a small portion exposed to the side of the mirror. We observed like this for ~1 hour without realizing.
