MDM Trouble Report for 2018 May 08

Instrument: modspec+echelle

Problem(s) Encountered:
Everything went well until about 2:30 when the science images went
blank -- they look like biases.  Some of the bad images are
600 sec exposures and they don't show cosmic ray hits, so I
think the problem is in the detector and not the shutter. I tried
the  power controller off  button on the Owl setup, and reloaded
the setup files, to no effect.  Closed up and headed home.

If echelle can't be rejuvenated, please mount Nellie on 
modspec  I have numbers from the one time I used this on 
modspec back in January of 2012:

Bob mounted it so the wavelengths increased to the right.
I don't know if there's a choice.

PL2=PL1 = 400; TL = 102

Subarray width = 300, height 1900, 64 col of bias

dcol 1024, drow 1095

tilt to put the Hg 5461 line in pixel 581 with this
setup.  Focus will be roughly 630.
