MDM Trouble Report for 2018 Sep 24

Problem(s) Encountered:
Three things:
1) The telescope rather frequently fails to complete a slew -- it
just stops somewhere midway and rotates the dome to wherever it's
pointing.  The cure is simply to re-send the coordinates and send 
it again.  I didn't notice any obvious error message except that 
the telescope wasn't pointed where it was supposed to be.
2) The MaximDL guider was set to a 128 box.  At one point, it 
totally lost it and started guiding as fast as it could in one
direction, consistently.  This was apparently caused by a hot 
pixel near the edge of the guider box, which the telescope
was trying to follow.  I switched to a 64 pixel box, and had no
further trouble.  I'd never seen this before!
3) A trivial matter - the LN2 hose on the 50L dewar is badly 
cracked and spraying nitrogen.
