MDM Trouble Report for 2021 Jun 15

Problem(s) Encountered:
At the start of the night every attempt to slew failed.  After 
fussing with it for just a little while I took a field trip to
the 1.3m (I'm working at the 2.4m) and discovered that, as I
had suspected, the dec power supply was reading Error.  I 
power-cycled it using the impressive-looking big lever on the 
square-D box and all was well.

The power failed today, and we also cut over to generator for
maybe a half-hour after the staff had left. I wonder if the 
power glitches caused this.  It might be good to check to be 
sure this fault hasn't occurred if line power has been bad.
