MDM Trouble Report for 2021 Dec 18

Problem(s) Encountered:
Telescope focus stopped responding to any changes via the TCS and
the hand paddle. It also slowly crept out. I noticed it before the
first science target. I sent it to the measured ideal focus, via
the Misc. window of the TCS software, but it didn't go there.
After the first object (the focus was pretty close to the right
focus anyway), I tried to use the hand paddle at both slow and fast
speeds. Neither worked immediately. I then home the dome and
telescope. When I was out in the dome to home the rotator, I
noticed the focus had moved a few hundred units in, which was the
last direction I attempted at the fast speed with the hand paddle.
If indeed it was because of that, it was bout a two-three minute
delay. The focus worked fine after that. Didn't really lose much
time due to this.

Looking back on old trouble reports, this has happened to me 
in the not-too-distant past.
