MDM Trouble Report for 2021 Dec 19

Problem(s) Encountered:
Experienced the same focus issue as last night. When I homed the
telescope, the focus moved to where I had told it to when I was
trying to pull it out of its trance. It then responded normally
to focus commands after that. Once I moved the telescope, it
would go back into its trance, and I would once again be unable
to do anything with it. Power cycled the TCS computer and the 
driver chassis only to arrive at the same result. Perhaps there's
a bad connection somewhere? Whatever it is, this now seems like
more than a transient issue. In the short term, the speed at which
the focus creeps is slow enough that I can spend an appreciable
amount of time taking science images (spectroscopic, anyway)
before it gets too bad. Then I'd home the telescope to  reset 
the focus.
