MDM Trouble Report for 2024 Oct 27

Telescope: 1.3m
Observer(s): Fesen (Dartmouth)
Instrument: OSMOS

Problem(s) Encountered:
Upper right portion of CCD lost sensitivity. pressing on thick
control cable seemed to fix it but the problem quickly returned.
In addition, guiding was lost several times due to telescope
jumping some 15 arcsec to the west at random. The combination
of these problems prevented useful observing.
