Problem(s) Encountered:

The only issue we had was with prospero not being able to communicate and move the slit wheel, which we experienced at around midnight.

Solutions:

This problem could occur with the slit wheel, disperser wheel, or either of the filter wheels.  To fix, find the “IE” terminal window (typically on desktop 4) and type quit.  Go out in the dome and power off the IE (black enclosure on the north of OSMOS, power switch on the east side of that).  Count to 30, power back on.  Start the “IE” terminal window again and reinitialize prospero (startup--it might be necessary to cycle prospero).  See:
