Problem(s) Encountered:

...the x and y guider stages do not move.  Commanding the unit to go to the field center resulted in an immediate reset to 0 0.  Putting in a x position like 7000 in the x field did exactly the same thing.  I looked at the telescope and the documentation but could not find a smoking gun as to the possible cause that could allow me to continue.  This effectively closed me down.

Solutions:

Shut down the xmis2 GUI and power-cycled the MIS.  Brought the GUI back up and the guide probe is moving again.
