Slew motion confusion when guiding is left ON

Problem(s) Encountered:

accidentally forgot to turn off tracking before slewing the telescope. But then I turn it off as soon as the guider lost the star and MaximDL beeped. However, this seemed to have halted the telescope from moving and I couldn't get it to move. Over the phone with Prof. Thorstensen, I tried to get the telescope to move back to zenith and trying to turn off tracking first. But that didn't work, so I called Eric G. and he was able to fix it. It seemed that the process of sending the telescope back to zenith was the right move, the DFM control was just being a bit buggy and I had to close some windows to get it to understand.

Solution:

when a slew aborts because you've forgotten to halt the guider, you need to cancel (STOP) the slew and re-send the "next object" coordinates before attempting to slew again.
