Problem(s) Encountered:

We experienced a period where the RA stopped responding. Slew would not complete and the RA current looked high. It resumed responding after a few attempted slews (after changing to a different declination).  

Solution:

All seems well and I could not reproduce the problem.  I did note that I need to close the “Rates” window in the TCS software in order for the telescope to initiate slew when coordinates are passed from JSkyCalc, which may already be known to the observing community.
RA current rates are indeed significantly higher than those for Dec.  This is only amplified when loading with a heavy instrument, such as CHaS.
