Problem(s) Encountered:

We met a problem when we close the dome, the dome rotated and cannot stop.

Solution:

The issue with lack of contact between the dome and the home switch persisted.  Tony spent a good amount of time today aligning the switch bracket so contact is more reliable.  He also tightened up a bunch of the assembly for the motor mount, which holds the home switch.
Also, the contact plate for power to the dome shutter/dropleaf had rotated by about 45º, not allowing for the shutter/dropleaf to close.  It appears that the skid plate used by the “dome home” system may have been running into contact plate mounting tower, causing it to rotate.  Work was done to a) ensure clearance between moving parts and b) tighten everything up.

Update:  the dome HOME switch ultimately ended up breaking completely.  A spare was ordered and has been installed.
